Brief job description:  Maintenance Mechanic to repair and maintain our high speed manufacturing equipment. Candidate must be able to read engineering drawings, diagnose malfunctions, make necessary repairs and adjustments to pumps, motors, drives and conveying equipment, etc. Candidates will work with common hand and power tools. Must be able to operate machine tools such as lathes, millers, and grinders to make repair machine parts. Field Network Engineer, Maintenance

Brief job description:  Field Network Engineer to work with and support the Field Maintenance department in configuring, deploying, troubleshooting, and maintaining Starry networking systems installed in the Boston metro area. You will be part of a team to support both standard deployments and our disaster recovery program ensuring our service outages are minimized and within Starry MTTR / SLAs.  Ideal candidate is willing to participate in field maintenance that is often off-site and occasionally off-hours. This position will be based in Boston but willing to travel, approximately 20%. Candidate has either a Bachelor's, Technical Institute degree or certificate in Computer Science, Network Management, Information Systems, or other related field or equivalent work experience. 2-4 years of experience as a network technician, preferably in the field.

Brief job description: Perform routine automotive maintenance and repair tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, various fluid flushes, tire replacement, four-wheel alignments, battery installations, drive belt replacement, brake and ABS system repair, emissions system repair, air conditioner/heating system repairs, suspension and powertrain repair.  Conduct extensive diagnostic procedures to determine the source of customer complaints and provide accurate repair recommendations.  Perform corrective repairs based on diagnostic results and road test vehicle to verify repairs.  Clean and maintain work environment to ensure safety.  Maintain a working knowledge of current industry best practices in automotive repair.  Basic computer skills are a must, ability to use AutoVitals e-inspections a bonus. If not we will teach you.  ASE certifications appreciated but not required for this position. We will help you pursue further training and education.

Brief Job Description:  Performs skilled maintenance and repair work on automotive, heavy motor vehicle equipment and other power driven equipment. Disassembles and reassembles gasoline and diesel motors, rebuilds engines, replaces clutches and transmissions, tunes motors, adjusts brakes, repairs electrical and hydraulic systems, suspension, frontal systems, small motors, lawn motors and brush cutters. Performs preventative maintenance operations and assists with fleet maintenance record keeping. Performs body work which may include blacksmithing and/or welding. May instruct operators in care and operation of complex equipment and may operate assigned equipment.

Recommended minimum qualifications: High School diploma and prior work experience in light and heavy motor vehicles and auto mechanic; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Possession of CDL Class B License and 2A Hoisting Engineers License. The Town of Marshfield is an AA/EOE employer.  Wages: Grade 7 – Step 1 ($22.98) – Step 2 ($24.87) hrly

Position:  Skilled Water Mechanic – Full-Time (40 hours per week)

Duties/Responsibilities: The Skilled Water Mechanic performs tasks in theWater Division relative to the construction, maintenance and repair of the water distribution system including the installation, repair and replacement of water mains and appurtenances, inspection of water main and service installations, installation, repair and replacement of water meters. Responsible for maintaining inventory of equipment. Responds to troubled service calls to make immediate repairs or secure water to prevent damage until repair can be scheduled. Participates in the department’s snow and ice removal program.

Recommended minimum qualifications: Must have a minimum of a High    School Diploma or equivalent, apprentice level or trade knowledge and        three to five years prior work experience. Must have Valid Commercial Class B Driver’s License with air brake. Class A preferred.  Wages: Salary Schedule, AFSCME Council 93, Local 1700  Salary Range Grade 4 ($40,747.20  –$ 41,475.20 annually)
