Blue Hills is a NATEF-certified program, which is part of Automotive Service Excellence (A.S.E.). Graduates of the program have exciting careers working for independent business owners and automobile and truck dealerships. Some students work as manufacturers’ representatives or in the insurance industry as estimators and appraisers.
Among the topics covered in the comprehensive four-year Auto Body curriculum are the safe and proper use of basic hand tools, developing good safety habits, paint mixing systems, methods of sheet metal repair, spot welding, removing and filling dents, removing and replacing bumpers, plastic repairs, auto damage appraisal, and removing and installing a hood panel. Students also learn about labor relations, customer relations, and auto appraising.
